MASS MoCA Free Day 2016

Adapted from MASS MoCA online calendar.

MASS MoCA is waiving admission fees for their annual "free day" this Saturday. Enjoy elevator music (played live), art-making, gallery tours, pop-up performances, and all the usual Free Day excitement. Be sure to check out the results of Aaron Johnson's Kidspace artist residency with North Adams and North Berkshire students. Guests are invited to create art that will go on display at Boston Children’s Hospital beginning in February, and participate in a community mural project that will transform the museum’s Tall Gallery with Jim Shaw and Clifford Ross-inspired art.

MASS MoCA's free day will be held from 11am to 7pm on Saturday, January 30th in North Adams, MA.

Gallery tours are offered every half hour from 11:30am to 5:30pm, including specialized architecture, family, and Sol LeWitt tours. A story booth will be set up in the galleries for past Sprague employees to share their memories of the space that now holds MASS MoCA.
