2nd Annual Young@Heart Chorus Mash-Up Concert

For over 30 years the Young@Heart Chorus has been at it, singing their hearts out to pop and rock and roll. They have proven year after year that they are an impressive group that doesn't need any professional singing lessons to sound great. Although this chorus group consists of performers ranging in age from 73 to 89 that doesn't stop their youthful, upbeat personalities from shining on stage.

Young@Heart began in 1982 by Bob Cilman and Judith Sharpe whose members at the time all lived in an elderly housing project, the Walter Salvo House in Northampton, MA. Today there are currently 30 chorus members and they will be involved in yet another concert, their 2nd annual Mash-Up concert at John M. Greene Hall at Smith College. This year they will be joined by some amazing youth performance groups on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 7:00pm.
