Workbench is a choreographic works-in-progress series in Northampton.

Each month the work of 3-5 emerging to professional choreographers will be showcased. The performances will be followed by a Q&A lead by local artists, and scholars. For our first showing on January 18th Workbench is featuring Paul Matteson with collaborator Sarah Hook, The Telephone Dance Project, Ailey Picasso and Claire Maurey. Performances will be followed by an open discussion led by Kathy Couch, installation artist and resident lighting designer at Amherst College.

Workbench will take place on the third Saturday of every month January 2014-May 2014 at 8PM at the Wild Life Sanctuary Studio at 221 Pine St., Florence MA.

The first performance is January 18th at 8:00 PM
