Asparagus Fest was this past Saturday on the commons in Hadley. Local farmers, vendors, and fans of asparagus were out in force enjoying a beautiful day of local food, local beer, and of course, local asparagus. There was live music all kinds of different local vendors from asparagus farmers, to local jewelry makers, and even caffeinated peanut butter. It was a perfect day to head out and celebrate local foods, community values and that vegetable we can't get enough of, asparagus.
