Northampton Students Learn Studio Basics at NCTV

NORTHAMPTON, MA- Students from the Northampton High School visited the NCTV studio today for a crash course on operating 3CCD Studio cameras.

NCTV's executive director Al Williams covered several aspects of filming multi-camera shoots, inviting students to practice zooming, panning and dollying in preparation for self-directed filming that will take place in the studio tomorrow.

The students from the high school's video department classes will be given the opportunity to film quick, three to five minute talk-shows where they will act as hosts, guests and crew members.

The students are encouraged to add a secondary visual element- either graphics or a prop- to make the shoot more challenging and creative.
